Beschrijving
Sermons on Isaiah is a collection of sermons about selected passages of Scripture in the book of Isaiah prepared from manuscripts of sermon notes by Dr. Phineas F. Bresee. The outlines, notes and fuller discussions within were originally intended to serve as aids to Dr. Bresee in his own preparation for the pulpit rather than in book form. Each sermon is titled and references a specific verse of Scripture within the book of Isaiah. The passages of Scripture used by Dr. Bresee range from Isaiah 1:18 to 43:1, but do not include every verse.
