This is a true life story about a man who made a huge mistake which ultimately landed him in prison. More heartbreaking than having to serve time was the fact that when sentenced, his daughter had not yet been born. Due to his absence, the father fears that he and his daughter will not have that father/daughter connection. Yes, the inability to be a vital part of her life physically, is a very taxing reality for him. Yet, through the storm and against all odds, he used every means he could to forge a bond, which resulted in an indescribable stillness that brought about light. This is a journey that is emotional, raw, and ugly, yet amazingly beautiful. It is pain and it is joy, its bitter, yet it is sweet. Frankly, it is documented motivation that exemplifies that even in a mans darkest hour, with faith, the sun still has the ability to break through.
