Beschrijving
(Boosey & Hawkes Chamber Music). Revised edition based on manuscript sources. Newly engraved and edited. Includes a Bernstein biography as well as historical and performance notes. ”Every so often a new edition of a classical work is released that because of a special feature rises to the top of all available. A current trend among publishers is the inclusion of a recording of the work. This is helpful to student and more mature clarinetists and especially to pianists who may not be familiar with the work. In the case of the new Boosey & Hawkes edition of the Bernstein Sonata for Clarinet and Piano the audio also includes a recording of just the piano part for the clarinetist to use in practice.”– The Clarinet magazine
